About the name:
It sort of came out of nowhere, but I think it fits nicely because 'Distant Horizon' makes one think of a long journey. And Aang, Katara, and Sokka's journey to restore balance to the world is indeed a long and winding path.

Updating Schedule:
Um, there is none! I try to update when I can, but that either ends up being every week or once a month. It really depends on the season and what's happening in real life. However when I do update, it tends to be on Wednesdays and Sundays.

About the site:
Distant Horizon was opened on Feb. 28, 2005 and is run by me (Jade). Most of the content here was written by me unless otherwise stated, and many of the screenshots used were taken by me. This site is not affiliated with Nickelodeon or any of the other official related groups; and no money is being made.

About me:
I am Jade; 22, female, Capricorn, and loves animation, music, and video games. I also really like to write and do graphic design, so hopefully one day I'll have a career in those categories. But for now I'm just enjoying life, and waiting to see what doors God opens for me.
