About the site:
Distant Horizon was opened on Feb. 28, 2005 and is run by me (Jade). Most of the content here was written by me unless otherwise stated, and many of the screenshots used were taken by me. This site is not affiliated with Nickelodeon or any of the other official related groups.

About the name:
It sort of came out of nowhere, but I think it fits nicely because 'Distant Horizon' makes one think of a long journey. And Aang, Katara, and Sokka's journey to restore balance to the world is indeed a long and winding path.

About the layout:

About me:
I am Jade; 25, female, Capricorn. I love all kinds of storytelling mediums (tv/animation, video games, music, comics), and enjoy drawing and writing myself, as well as doing web design. I've been online since the late '90s, and it's been a fun ride. As for the future..? Who knows.
