   How do you make sprites?

I use Jasc's Paint Shop Pro 7, but any paint program will work. I usually draw them from scratch or re-color existing sprite bases, and I always have a few reference pictures of the character so I don't forget any details. When drawing them, I have the canvas Zoomed in close, and use the Pencil/Pen tool on size 1 pixel. That way I can see exactly what I'm doing. From there, I just keep drawing, and fix the lines and colors until I'm happy with the result. It can take from an hour or two to almost a day to finish, depending on the design difficulty.

   How do I use the sprites?

Hover the mouse over the sprite you want and right-click. Then choose Save Picture As to save the sprite to your computer. After that, you can upload it to your own image server so you can use it on your site.

   Why can't I hot-link the sprites?

Because, dear friend, it uses up my bandwidth. Especially when a lot of people are hot-linking a lot of my images. I know it is very easy to just copy the url of the sprite and paste it on your site, but I would appreciate it if you didn't do that. If you want to use some sprites and don't have a place to host them, PhotoBucket is good.

I really don't know, but I'm trying to make more sprites when I have time. To see which characters I'm currently working on, you can see my To Do list.

   Can I request a custom OC sprite?

At this time I am not making custom original character sprites. I might later on when I finish my Avatar-related sprites, but... who knows when that'll be. ^^;

Can I make Avatar sprites for you?

While I appreciate the gesture, please don't. This is where I showcase the Avatar sprites that *I* have made. I know I still have many more characters to make sprites of, but I look forward to that! I want to make them myself. If you do it, especially in the same base style that I'm using, what's the point in me doing it, you know? If you want to make your own sprites, that's super. Just don't expect them to be put up here.
