                        About

Navi is from the game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, first released in November 1998 for the Nintendo 64, and remade for the Nintendo 3DS in June 2011.

A knowledgeable fairy from the Kokiri Forest, she was appointed by The Great Deku Tree to guide a young boy named Link when destiny called him into action. Together they traveled across Hyrule and time itself in order to defeat countless monsters, awaken other destined characters, and ultimately restore peace to the land.

Link (and the players) called on Navi for advice on enemy weak points, where they should go next in the quest, and also for the ever-useful "Z/L-targeting" to lock onto enemies during battle. In a game where Link often faced new areas and challenges all on his own, Navi's constant companionship and aid made her an invaluable friend.

Fun Facts:
Navi's voice clips were used for Ceila's voice in the Nintendo DS game: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass!

Though not technically in the game, in the Nintendo Wii version of the game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Navi acts as the on-screen cursor for the wiimote.

Navi's name appears on the leader board during Tournament mode for the Nintendo 64 game: Mario Golf, along with Saria, Malon, and Talon!

Although it looks more like Tatl and the tunnel from Majora's Mask, it's Navi's iconic "Hey!" that echoes from the fairy from a Zelda cameo in Cartoon Networks' The Powerpuff Girls (episode 28, Child Fearing.)
