Featuring Naruto Uzumaki. This was the first pic in a series of fanart based on the Wolf Parade's song, "You Are a Runner and I Am My Father's Son" that I started back in October 2008. It was perhaps too ambitious of a project for me; this was the only picture I actually finished.

I had trouble figuring out a coloring style that reflected the song's beat, and worried that all of the following pictures had to match this one's style. Eventually I said 'screw it,' colored this one as best as I could, then let it sit for seven months before posting it. I don't know if I'll ever return to this project -- I do still love the idea of it and have the sketches for the remaining lyrics -- but until then this will just be the only one.
